The Heart Behind The Resin Bubble

Hi, I’m Tawny, the artist, flower arranger, charm collector, and occasional tiny-detail over-thinker behind The Resin Bubble.

I create one-of-a-kind resin pieces inspired by the things we never quite outgrow: favorite flowers, meaningful places, inside jokes, people we love, and memories worth holding onto. Every element is placed by hand in my El Segundo studio, turning the smallest details into tiny worlds made to last.

The Resin Bubble started with two silicone molds from my local Buy Nothing group, a neighbor wondering whether I could preserve a bird’s nest, and a library book that sent me down a very sparkly rabbit hole. What began as curiosity quickly became a way to tell stories through flowers, color, charms, and resin.

I grew up about an hour outside Philadelphia in a house where Philly sports were basically required viewing. My dad would let me stay up past bedtime if the Eagles, Phillies, Flyers, or Sixers were on, so the obsession started early and, obviously, never left.

Some pieces are joyful, some are sentimental, and some are wonderfully weird, which probably traces back to a childhood spent loving imaginative little worlds like Pee-wee’s Playhouse. My hope is that each piece feels personal, sparks a memory, or becomes the gift everyone wishes they had thought of first.

Every piece is designed and handcrafted in El Segundo, California.
