A tiny world, sealed in resin.
This vase was made for Sarah Smile, my Bucktown sister and one of my dearest friends since middle school. Sarah spent years teaching before becoming a full-time florist with her husband through Make Your Day Design, which feels exactly right for someone who has always known how to make life more beautiful.
She created my wedding flowers, including the wildly specific floral arrangement I wanted wrapped all the way up my arm instead of a traditional bouquet. This piece was inspired by that day, her talent, and a friendship that has bloomed through a lot of life. It is not made from customer-provided flowers. It is my resin interpretation of what Sarah has given me.
